I’ve been asked a couple of times recently if HR Locker works for companies that use staff rosters. The short answer is yes. Here’s how one client does it:
Firstly, they create the roster in Excel but it could be created in just about any package. They then upload the roster document using HR Docs, mark it as essential and publish it to the entire company. This sends an email to all employees directing them to the roster and requesting them to sign it to show they’ve read it.
Staff are now fully aware of their roster information and can record their working times using the timesheets (TimeOn) function. This information can later be cross referenced against the original roster information if necessary.
