Former rugby union star Bob Casey talks to us about his transition from rugby field to the boardroom and the challenges of leadership.
On today’s show, Crystel asks Bob about the skills it takes to be a great leader, both on and off the pitch. As well as, the measures executives can apply to build a better and more engaged culture.
Having played at the highest levels of international and club rugby, Bob is vastly experienced in motivating people to get the very best out of them.
Following his retirement from the sport in 2012, he successfully transitioned to the corporate world, taking on the role of CEO at London Irish. In 2017, Bob returns to Ireland to join as a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry, a global organizational consulting firm. Korn Ferry works with organizations to design their structures, roles, and responsibilities.
Bob operates at senior management and board level both in Ireland and internationally.
