Being sedentary for long periods of time isn’t healthy and can cause a lot of harm to your body. Too much sitting can cause weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and more.

The HRLocker Wellness Hub is the perfect place to begin and take your first step to improve your health at work. We understand that it can be difficult to fit a long workout into a packed schedule that’s why our tutorials are simple and quick to follow. A quick 5 to 10 minutes easy workout from your desk will already make the difference!

Marta Staut and the Introduction of Chairlates

Marta is part of the HRLocker team and is incredibly passionate about health and fitness! She is certified in various areas of fitness from Aerobics, Personal Training, Zumba and Pilates. Currently, Marta has been upgrading her skills by participating in a Nutrition and Health Coaching Course which will give her more tools to guide you towards a healthier lifestyle.

For many years, Marta worked full-time in one of the biggest Leisure Centers in Limerick. One day she decided that it was time for a career shift and started an office job. The change from being always on her feet to an office job made her realise the lack of movement that most of us have during our normal workday. Thus, Chairlates was born!

A few months ago, we agreed that every Monday Marta would run a quick morning stretching routine for HRLocker employees. Since it was a success, we wanted to share those sessions with YOU!
